Books with Badges, a Chapter One Initiative.
Books with Badges is a signature program of Chapter One Resources that brings first responders into schools, youth centers, and community events to promote literacy, build trust, and spark leadership in young readers. This initiative connects youth with role models from public safety, education, and service professions to inspire personal growth and positive relationships.
The Foundation.
Books with Badges was the original spark that led to the creation of Chapter One Resources. What started in 2016 as an elementary school reading and mentorship program has now grown into a full-scale nonprofit with programs in leadership, media, and service. However, our commitment to literacy remains at the heart of it all.
